Your Experience Survey

Survey Results

More than 4,800 students (16%) responded to the Your Experience survey.

47.6% of respondents identify as women, 46.6% identify as men, 2.9% identify as nonbinary and 1.6% identify as gender-fluid/genderqueer.

2/3 of respondents agreed that “The University’s leadership (i.e., president, provost, deans, vice presidents, directors, program heads) is committed to diversity.”

73% of respondents said they can “raise concerns without fear of intimidation or retaliation.”

Overall, 65% of respondents agreed that “UT Dallas is a place where I feel like I belong.” However, when disaggregated by identity groups, we saw variation in the level of agreement with that statement.

90% of respondents at both undergraduate and graduate levels feel that their professors are supportive and encouraging.
